How to Join as a Driver

New members interested in becoming a Driver must be at least 21 years old and hold a driver's valid license without any suspensions or points. The following is step by step instructions to becoming a TVAC Member as a Driver:

1. Email contact@tenaflyambulance.com or call 201-568-4909 to notify the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps of your interest and receive information on Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) courses.

2. Complete the Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) course.

3. Become BLS CPR/AED certified prior to beginning the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps' Driver Training Program (see "CPR Training" under Resources for more information).

4. Complete the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps' Driver Training Program.
