How to Join as an EMR

New members interested in becoming an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) must be at least 15 years old and BLS CPR certified before starting the EMR course. The following is step by step instructions to becoming a Junior TVAC Member:

1. Email contact@tenaflyambulance.com or call 201-568-4909 to notify the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps of your interest and receive information on upcoming EMR courses.

2. Become BLS CPR/AED certified prior to the start of the EMR course (see "CPR Training" under Resources for more information).

EMR Training classes are offered several times a year at the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
