How to Join as an EMR

Already certified? Prospective members who are already Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certified, can apply for membership by completing the Membership Application.

Need assistance becoming certified? EMR courses are offered at least two times a year at the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps. This 48 hour course equips individuals with the minimum certification necessary to begin volunteering with TVAC. Prospective members seeking to become EMR certified must be at least 14 years old to enroll in a EMR course*. 

*Please note that individuals must be at least 15 years old to apply for Junior Membership with TVAC.
